After game was awesome, got stuff from pudge, ramos, jz and wang. Storen came over and shook hands as did h-rod.

Wow, what an amazing day at the park. This was the first time I've been to the last home game of a season, it was so much fun.

The Morse curtain call was such a great moment.

Listened to the last 4 or 5 innings on the radio (wife took control of the TV).     It sounded like game 7 with C & D.    Morse's HR, H-Rod, Clip and Storen's pitching, snatch by Z-man.    Wow  !!

Wait, did Chad Cordero pinch hit at the end of that game, because Robinson had used virtually everyone? I was there for that.

Maxwell's WO GS in 2009's last home game is still the moment to beat but this was close. H-Rod was dominating. Zimm his usual amazing self.   

We came home with 7 shirts, a werth BP jersey, 2 bags and 2 hats.

So I'm shoping in Giant tonight still wearing my Zimm jersey. One guy asks me if I saw the zimm play in the 9th. Another walks by with the strasburg shirt and we chat a bit.  Awesome!

The 2009 closing day will probably remain top of my list for a while.  For one thing, my baseball-starved sis happened to be in town from Australia, and she was ecstatic to be at a game, period...but when Maxwell hit that 9th inning bomb, the day was perfect.

my only real disappointment today was that Werth couldn't get Teddy his win.  They put the finish line on the 3B side and only Tom ran for it, the rest went the usual route.   Tom has seen better days, his head is all torn up and the foam underneath is showing.

btw, some other notes from the post game - they brought out pretty much whatever was left from the in-season give-aways and gave everything to the players to distribute.

Pudge came over to our section (112) in his "beast mode" shirt.  Morse ran to LF with a ton of stuff to toss it to the fans over by his position which was a real nice touch, he was the only one to go there. 

In addition to Pudge; Ramos, Storen, Wang, Bo Porter, Bernadina, Bixler, H-Rod, Peacock, and J-Zimm came over.  Storen was shaking hands with everyone.  Peacock looked just happy to be there.  I saw Lannan closer to the Braves dugout as well.  I didn't see Werth, Zimmerman or Strasburg, but there were a lot of guys over on the 1B side.  I'll try and post some pictures this week.  Bernie is indeed a beast.
