This is what separates Lannan and guys like Milone, JZ, etc. He isn't on the same level.

What's his name?

Ms. Highland Park - I understand that you are more familiar with your homeboy Mad Dog 20/20

His inability to telekinetically manipulate ground balls to gloves is appalling.

He doesn't throw enough strikes or get ahead of hitters nearly enough. We have 6-7 starters better than him.

He just gave up a hit to Schneider for freak sake.

The Phillies OWN Lannan and always will. No way in freaking hell he makes the starting rotation next year.

There are nights when ground ball pitchers are going to give up base hits... the Phils put a lot of balls in play. Pay attention, Jayson Werth.

People said that I had some insane bias against Lannan back in the day, when I insisted he needed some time in the minors. This is haterade folks, Lannan still ok with me.

Bob Carpenter sounded so genuinely excited. "The Phillies got 5 hits but don't even have the lead! John Lannan unlucky, but all is well!"

What the Frick Bob?

:lmao:  We stopped at a liquor store in DC the other day on the way to the game and my friend tried to talk me into buying a couple of bottles of that crap for "old time's sake". I'm glad I said no because I probably would not have remembered the game.

Ms. Highland Park[...]

...an excellent malt in its own right, and also one of the principal malts (along with The Macallan) used in The Famous Grouse blend.

I was actually on PANatsFan's side on that one.   :spaz:  But his critics were being unreasonable. All he called for was to have Lannan go to the minors to get his crap together so the team wouldn't have to be subjected to him defecating on the mound and ruining any chance to win the game every time he started.
