Does anyone know who the other announcer is on the radio with Charlie tonight?

Todd Kalas, son of Harry.

Haven't seen a play, but I predict that Bally will pitch well. He's better than HRod, Coffey, and Burnett...and I don't much believe in the one-batter-lefty-specialist thing. A good pitcher gets people out.

3 frames, 3 hits, 2 walks, 2 runs, 4 K's, 1 hit batter, 1 wild pitch and 1 balk.

I guess if there's a good night to get stuck going to an Os game, this would be it.

How does Lannan walk Oswalt TWICE?

The last outing I saw Bally pitch was in AAA against the Mudhens about 3 weeks ago, 4 innings , 1 hit, 0 BB's 5 K's. It would be nice if he would get close to that tonite.

Technically, four of them were gifts.  Which one was the earned one, I have to ask?

...and how do you pick out an earned run from all of that mess???

You play it out. The second run was the earned run. The first could not be earned because Victorino reached on an error. The next two hitters hit their way on base and the one after that walked. Without the error you have bases loaded with one out (theoretically). The next batter grounded out to the Morse who tossed the ball to Lannan for the putout at 1B. That's scored a fielder's choice RBI. That would've been the second out of the inning (theoretically). The next batter was walked intentionally. The next one grounded out to the pitcher (the crazy play made by Lannan) for the force at home. That would've been the 3rd out of the inning (theoretically). Everything after that is unearned.

Another bad thing about this game, because, unlike football, there's a game tomorrow so the necessary review/rehashing of this game won't happen.  It'll just blend into the background like all the others.

...but this is a "special" game that needs to be reviewed...A LOT!

He was dominant against the Cubs, striking out 3 in an inning but throwing a very ill advised fastball right down the middle on Soriano.  The pitch was exactly what you DON'T throw to Soriano, who will go fishing for sliders low and off the plate all night, but it may have been called by Ramos out of ignorance.

Doesn't matter, the suggestion is still hilarious.

Morse is our premier RBI guy.  If only somebody could get on base ahead of Zimmerman once in a while.

Now, we have three earned runs and they have one.  You'd think we were winning... :?

Phillies announcers barely noticed the run. Clods.

Oswalt's ERA is up for this game.  Lannan's is down.

Of the three games of this series, this is the one you'd think we'd have the best chance of winning because Oswalt isn't that good.

We should have saved this performance for tomorrow.
