Roger Bernadina not listed on #Nats clubhouse lineup card. Could have been sent down or traded to make room for Wang.

They have a ton of outfielders, Rizzo isn't a nyan, and Wang needs a roster spot. The other choice would be someone like Detwiler.

That would make more sense. Roger has played decent and is much better than Ankiel, etc. Why would you demote someone you are trying to trade/showcase?

Unless they traded for a real CFer there is no reason to send him to AAA.

It could still be a trade. Gorzo to the pen and Detwiler to AAA could happen after the game.

Makes sense, he's now the 5th outfielder. They couldn't send any other outfielder on the 25-man down.

Ankiel & Cora don't have any options. Sending Detwiler down and moving Gorzelanny to the pen would make sense, but I think they need all they pitchers they can get at this point.

Gorzelanny is on stand by if Wang does crappy tonight and next two starts. I suggested a 13 man pitching staff several days ago but never envisioned Bernadina being sent down. Gones trade replaced Stairs instead of Wang taking his spot.
