It could be worse. You could be going to Oriole games. You have to love the white trash ones there. You know everything there is to know about their baby's daddy before you leave the game. They get louder with each beer.

I've only been to Camden Twice, but that's seriously true. Saw so many just kind of hoodlum looking people.

  Well done.

Big series in Atlanta next Friday. I want JZ on the mound Friday night to get us started off right.

Going to face Hudson/Hanson/Jurrjens in the series likely so it will be tough.

Is he starting Friday?  Does Davey juggle the rotation coming back from the break?

Our ace and 8-9 pitchers are as good as any I baseball.... plus they are young as crap!   Those are tough positions to fill!

He's gonna be the #5 starter from now on. I think Lannan or Livo should start the first game after the break.

All things considered, this team is MUCH MUCH MUCH improved!! This team is not far away from being REALLY GOOD.  I'm gonna enjoy the ride.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere last night that Lannan is going to try to make his next start.

Missed another game on TV...(sometimes family comes first when your wife hates all sports except the Royal Dutch "Football" team).

From the scoreboard, it looks like a great game, and some fine pitching.

This year's team does NOT look like a "Wiley Coyote" team that runs off a cliff, churns feet, eventually looks down, says, "ulp", and crashes. I believe that Werth will settle and hit, and then, wow, look out opponents!

I am looking toward a good second half. Hey, we have a fine 1B, right? Ryan Z won't get bhurt again, and Zim1-n is among the best Nats I've seen -- and I go back to Eddie Yost and Pete Runnels and Roy and Killer and Hondo and McMullen -- who was as good as B Robinson.

J-Zim is not shabby, either! My favorite pitchers remain Camilo Pascual and Dick Bosman, but Z-nn is working toward being truly special.

[The older oldies know Camilo and Bosman, but for the young-uns, look at Camilo in 1959 and Bosman in 1969.)

I don't think this is a Wile E. Coyote team either. If Werth gets his mind back in focus then we're going to have some fun times this next half. Of course, we've had some might fun times so far, too.

46-46, folks!
