Crowd looked rather unpromising in the early going but got better as the evening progressed (well, as it progressed time-wise, if not baseball-wise) - announced attendance 19,046, about the same as Games 2 and 3 of the Cubs series. I figured the threat of rain plus a rather uncompelling opponent would cut into walk-up sales.
...and just what happened to all that horrible rain that was supposed to wash this match out and force a doubleheader today? Wasn't really bad out at all once the match started.
The Jammin' Barbecue, opened at the north end of the Gallery level (just as you get off the escalator or ramps) at the start of this homestand, gets a big thumbs-up from one of my seat-mates.
