At this pace I don't see Pudge reaching 3000.

If they can retire him and get him on the coaching staff tomorrow, I'd be ok with it.

Lannan's fastball has been jumping lately, at least for him. What's up with that? He also just had a rather decent at bat...

Why do people always want players on the coaching staff? Every year there are at least two players people want to retain as coaches.

I doubt it too, but I really like what he's doing for the rest of the team as far as working with the pitchers and Ramos. He's a great guy to have on the team. Hopefully we do keep him around once he retires.

I have a lot of confidence in Lannan.  He's had a great first half.

Leave her be, come on.  I like her.  She is the LEAST of our problems!

I think Pudge will make a great coach and manager some day.

Who, besides Pudge, has anyone wanted on the coaching staff?

This year alone, Cora, Hernandez, Stairs.

Somebody was just mentioning the other day how his fastball has picked up velocity every single year.  I forget what thread that was.

(I'm assuming your post was in reference to Lannan)

He looks bigger to me and his arm motion is definitely quicker than it was last season.

Yes.  I can see him teaching catchers to be lazy for years to come.

I thought the exact same thing.

Carp and FP seem to think it's a done deal.

I doubt he'll make it.

I want Stairs' hat and security card taken away immediately.  He has no business being affiliated with this franchise in any way.  Escort him out of Nationals Park.
