To add more fuel to the Werth dislike, last Friday night a couple of fans were letting him have it in RF and he couldn't ignore it like most MLB'ers do. He flipped them the finger on the sly (no big deal I've had that happen before) but then he went and got security and got the fans tossed from the game. I thought that was weak. He should be able to handle the criticism.

Yep, Zimmerman won't stay unless the team is competitive and the VERY FIRST TIME this team could be competitive and THIS IS WHAT HE'S GIVING US!

Jayson Werth has 12 hits in June, in 79 ABs.

Brian Bixler has 5 hits in 15 ABs.

Dunn's had one hit this season against lefties, hitting .019.

Everyone on the team is an easy out except for Morse and maybe Espinosa right now.

Do our batters face our pitchers in spring training?   IE  Has Dunn faced our pitchers in spring training?

Yep. I was sitting about two rows from where it happened. I was with a couple of my brothers, nephews and my mom. Even my mom said what he did was unnecessary because there was nothing out of line said to him.

Interesting.  I know what you mean about ballplayers needing to let fan criticism go in one ear and out the other.  But we don't know what those fans were saying.  It may have been so bad the ushers agreed with Werth

We should have walked Konerko and brought in Burnett to face Dunn.  Then we'd still have Clip in the pen.
