Someone yelled "We love you man" during McLaren's inteview with Bob and FP.

It's a hard thing to judge, and an easy thing to say, but I do think this team does have chemistry, and although a lot of the key players are young, it looks like their internal bonds will help them survive this transition and season.

Heard the good news just after the Mystics match from an acquaintance with a smartphone (Mystics won big at the Phone Booth, 83-63 over Tulsa Shock)...just a proper afternoon of local sports all round.

Anyway...comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 40th win, each season:

2005 - 19th June (69th match)
2011 - 26th June (78th match)
2010 - 16th July (90th match)
2006 - 18th July (95th match)
2007 - 19th July (95th match)
2008 - 2nd August (110th match)
2009 - 9th August (112th match)

The 2005 and 2010 editions are the only Nationals teams to have 40 wins before the All-Star break.
