:lmao:  definitely the under. I doubt we come close to that number again unless the Nats are on the road and end up playing 20 innings.
I bet we get there if we find the team in a serious playoff chase late into August or beyond...

Ah Todd Coffey, you fat loveable fool.

We could have won in 10 last night, at least, were it not for him.

Same deal with my parents in southern PA.  My stepdad has become a huge Nats fan, so he's pretty disappointed.

The Rangers have class A affiliates not too far away, in Hickory and Myrtle Beach...and the Mets had their top farm club in not-too-far-off Norfolk for what seemed like forever (I understand there were many fans in the Tidewater that were really hacked off when they switched affiliation to the Orioles).

Apart from that, I haven't the first idea why Mets-Rangers would be deemed to be of such major interest to fans in Raleigh.

But then again, back in 2004 ESPN, in its final season carrying the NHL, put the Detroit Red Wings on in the DC market for five straight matchnights...so I guess anything is possible.

The only think I can think of is Josh Hamilton....He is from Raleigh.

...sounds as good as anything I can come up with...maybe a plurality of players at one team or the other prefers Carolina-style barbecue over other types?

Or maybe we'll just make him look like freakin' Cy Young on national TV

If/when Werth and Zimm get going, the lineup will be nasty.

Of course, with how baseball works, others will slump in their place.

I don't buy McLaren resigning.  Again, it makes no sense when he can just leave when the season is over.

Prediction:  White Sox score at least two in the first inning.

Dunn is playing 1st? This should be interesting.
If he commits an error, Bob Lodson is going to have a field day on twitter.

Quote
McLaren’s resignation would stem from his loyalty to Riggleman and his overall frustration with the Nationals’ situation, sources said.

Huh?
