That crap happened to my cousin. And to make matters worse, not only was the mother fully aware that he wasn't the father but even the kid knew it and failed to tell him. They milked his ass for 20 years over a kid they knew damn well wasn't his from the beginning.

It's why VA has lax weapons laws.

"CAN WE KILL SOME BIRDS NOW?  ...PLEASE?"

Good idea but they won't be getting any birds anytime soon. One of them got into a Popeye's bag last night and ate the mashed potatoes with gravy plus a piece of spicy chicken and that bird has him sick as crap today.  :?

Do you remember "Panorama" on channel 5?

Yes, back then Maury's show was more than "YOU"RE NOT THE FATHER"

I remember being in the studio "audience" one time.   He did great interviews back then.

I'm still waitin' on the DNA to come back.   They'll probably wait 'til my boy gets out of college to break the news to me.

Today's game is a reason why you don't extend him.  He's a TERRIBLE in-game manager and always has been.

Why in the hell wasn't Gorzelanny pinch hit for today?  Instead of trying to extend the inning, he has Gorzelanny end it and then proceed to give up two runs in the 5th, putting the game away for them.  Tomorrow is a day off, for goodness sake.  He could have tried to have the bullpen win the game because Gorzelanny was his usual awful self all game today.

Gorzelanny harkens back to the worst days of Nationals baseball, when they couldn't get an extended winning streak because a terrible starter was always in the way.

Riggleman seems to put more emphasis on the guy than the team, whether it's leaving a pitcher in too long ... PH Stairs  ....  not play Nix most of the time ...     I'm not sure what it is exactly but I wouldn't extend him either.

I think in the 4 games in Baltimore it was sell-out, sell-out, mid 40k and high 40k.  Yes the last two games of the series did not sell out.

Will take the next series. Hiding Gorzo. Coffey hasn't been that bad. It was Gorzo. Three DPs kept the Baltimore Orioles from scoring about 15 runs.

Everybody wang Chung tonight.

...an old favourite from Caps matches back in CapCentre days, late 1980's (can you believe this song will have been out for 25 years this coming 14th October?).

For the second time at Nats Park, 35,000+ through the turnstiles for all three fixtures of an Orioles visit:

39,824   Sunday 29th June 2008 [highest attendance of 2008 and 9th highest ever at Nats Park]
39,479   Saturday 28th June 2008 [10th highest ever at Nats Park]
36,614   Saturday 18th June 2011
35,830   Friday 27th June 2008
35,562   Friday 17th June 2011
35,439   Sunday 19th June 2011
31,833   Saturday 23rd May 2009
30,880   Sunday 24th May 2009
30,290   Saturday 22nd May 2010
27,535   Sunday 23rd May 2010
27,378   Friday 21st May 2010
22,556   Friday 22nd May 2009

Yes, a lot fo it was Orioles support, but the Capitals went through this same thing (heavy opposition turnouts for visits by the Penguins, Sabres, Red Wings - much worse-behaved than opposition support at Nats Park)...just points up more that we need to build a winner here...the attendance will grow, and if the team finally does make post-season we'll start taking back our house, just as the Caps did.

As much I hate the O's, their fans are local and thus act appropriately at the Park.

Watching Gorzelanny pitch makes me more and more angry at/disappointed in Ross Detwiler.  He should be on the major league roster and not in Syracuse with a 5+ ERA!  >:(

He was the SIXTH pick!

Pretty much what I expected from SF
Is he ever going to be happy? We could win the World Series and he'd be angry because it took us 7 games.

It was rough defensively today, but no team is going to win every single game.

I hope it takes 7 games, more home games that way!

I didn't dig the "RED" that the Nats/Caps fans yelled.
