Sure.  But you can't reverse what's done.

Now, they had bases loaded with nobody out and still only scored one run.

But you can always whine when you don't get perfection, I guess.  :?
Asking one of the best defensive 3Bs in the majors to make a relatively accurate throw to second on a tailor-made double play ball isn't asking too much, I don't think.

No, we needed a DP two batters ago.  We needed a strikeout here.

What could've happened DID happen.

That half inning brought to you by:

spoprtsfan's personal nightmare

Nice Chief.

Every time I hear Bob reference that "Luna" ad I can only hear, "Shop smart.  Shop S-Mart."

Where did I excuse Zimm?

I just said that they did a great job of making up for it.  Sheesh.

That play was screwed by his legs.

then again I'm not too shocked that some of the simplest things about baseball have to be explained around here.  :?

Sucks that he can't throw hard yet. Really freaks up all of the routine plays.

Gee, I remember someone else saying that ... yesterday ... hhhmm... who was that ...  ;)

zimmerman's positives outweigh his negatives ... it's one f'n error.

the real shame is if we can't pick up our star player and beat up on a pitcher who is not MLB quality starter.

I'm not shouting for Zimm to go on the DL or anything... but neither am I going to applaud a DP that scores a run when the inning should've been over already.

Inevitably, they'll show that play again.  I invite sportsfan ASSCLOWN to watch it again and still blame the person who "changed his throwing motion."

He probably will because he's a freaking moron.

Why is Werth taking a fastball down the middle for strike 3?

Because Werth   s u c k s.

And then he stands there watching the ball rolling on the ground.

BTW, that passed ball on third strike rule is probably the dumbest in baseball.

They changed a lot more than just his throwing motion, duh. They changed his whole stance/throw.

Not knowing/understanding how critical, or fundamental, footing is to throwing is a sure sign that person has never really played ball.

What is the Nats first base coach holding onto in every game?   It looks like a stop watch.   Is he timing runners to first?  Counting outs?

Pitcher's delivery and pickoff move (but not yet in this game :?).

i'd rather him be up here today than still in Hagerstown/Potomac/etc.  So far in the five+ games he's been with the big league club the positives have outweighed the negatives.

He looks like an actor playing a baseball player throwing. But if it helps him avoid tweaking that injury, who cares.

the impact of his arm is far less than that of his bat.
