"Nationals catcher Ivan Rodriguez stubbed left big toe this weekend. He hurt the toe hitting a sofa in his hotel room. The injury is not considered series and he was available to play in Sunday's game against the Padres, according to manager Jim Riggleman."

He stubbed his toe, that never happened to you? I snapped my pinkie toe bone in half catching a chair leg. One of the most painful injuries I've ever had (and I've had some doozies!)

I got frustrated once and ended up kicking the side of a doorway.  It was really painful!   I had broken the tip of the toe!  It may not sound like a big deal, but it is.

I've broken my big toe twice by stubbing it. It's series as any other injury.

A series toe stub hurts a hell of a lot more than a trilogy, I'll tell you that

Try stubbing your toe, then putting all your weight on your toes/balls of your feet for 3 hours. See how you do.

Now for the 10 million dollar question...Is it World Series?

Did this come from a tweet? I can pretty much assume who's twitter handle if that is the case.

Have you ever stubbed a toe? I have done it so badly that it's painful to walk and very difficult. Running was out of the question.

Toes, while small, are pretty crucial to movement, bro.

hahahahahhaha win

fwiw i posted this not because i thought pudge was a wussy for stubbing his toe and sitting out of the game, but because i thought it was funny the level of detail reported. and also because it was very series.
