ouch. another excruciating loss.

Can't wait to hear Riggleman and Rizzo's excuses. No changes will be made. We just need hits to start dropping for us and we'll be fine.

Ray looks like he'd rather caddie for Nancy.

Seriously?  I've never seen that.

Was away from my computer but I'm pretty sure that's the same umpire that did the same thing to us in Toronto a few years ago. And if it's the same one, he's had the same lapse a few other times.

Except the Brewers cheating ass scorekeeper put it as a ball on the scoreboard and the umpire must have lost track on his counter. Screwed

I remember when that happened to us in Toronto and the umpire was confused about the count kimnat suggested he just look at the scoreboard to get it right.

Let me make it more painful. THERE ARE NO CHANGES THAT RIGGLEMAN CAN MAKE.

He can make better freaking decisions that's for damn sure. But the changes ultimately lie at Rizzo's feet and he's convinced we are playing terrific baseball so nothing is going to change.

We can second guess his decisions. We can also give him credit for very effective baserunning decisions. Whatever.

The Nats are what they are. And that's very disappointing, because I wanted to see improvement.

You and me both.  If Rizzo does nothing after this series he's done as far as I'm concerned.

My question: Is Rizzo free to make moves, or is he handcuffed by the Lerners?

Well you know Johnny, I just took the bull by the horns, hunkered down, said my prayers, took my vitamins, didn't count my eggs before they hatched, gave it 110 percent, looked both ways before crossing the street, dotted my I's and crossed my T's, never let the score get me down, kept my chin up, trusted my teammates, stayed the straight path, tried to be Johnny on the spot and just plain never gave up today but I dropped a tough one to a good team who played hard and dropped my GDT record to 0-2 for the season that is still young and there is plenty of baseball to be played because there is always tomorrow and I'll work on the things that need to be worked on.

1-7 road trip against the Mets, O's, and Brewers. Brutally bad. Should have won 4 games at a minimum.

I'm glad the Brewers added the two extra runs. It would have sucked to have lost by a Zack Greinke solo shot.
