He's exactly the type of pitcher that has owned us (See: Gallardo, Guthrie). He will not walk batters and can get strike outs. 29 Ks to 2 BBs this season despite high 6.43 ERA.

Over 9.5 it is. Season high 10 for Greinke.

Ankiel should seriously not be on this team

That sounds right. I didn't mind him early in the season when he was getting on base by walks and scoring some runs and getting hits here and there but I'm done with him. He's a strikeout machine. The power hasn't even been there this year.

Actually I just remembered why SF hates Marquis. Marquis was the one who owned him on that bet when he lost two months worth of posting privileges for having a better ERA than his boy Lannan in that bet you suckered him into last season.

In my scorebooks I have created a few new stats just for the Nats:

- FPS: First Pitch Swing
- FCK: Full Count Strikeout
- RKK: Rally Killer Strikeout
- SWP: crappy Wild Pitch
- CSP: Complete crap Performance
