they noted in the Post today that Harper struggled so bad in his first few weeks of JuCo that he thought about quitting and going back to high school, then he caught fire and became player of the year.

Hamonds, you have to be encouraged by Hood's start in Potomac.

The power still isn't there but the approach at the plate has gotten much better which is everything.

8/24 with 2 Doubles, 1 Triple, 2 RBIs, 7 BBs, 6 Ks, 0 SBs, 0 CS.
