this would be a lot more enjoyable to watch if Ray Knight were doing color commentary, but in spanish.
Anyone speak spanish - what was the announcer saying about Kevin Goldstein?
Maya just owned those fools - I think he only threw one fastball, and moved through the strike zone left to right. His offspeed stuff looked silly.
Too bad his fastball is BP level at best.
They had him at 91/92.
He doesn't even need to throw that many of them, with all of his offspeed stuff. Most pitches were in the 70's.
Livo 2.0?
His hook was in the low 70s, but like Livan he needs the separation in speeds to be effective. I'm glad he's getting the innings but he still should be viewed in the same light as Matt Stairs (a camp invitee not given a spot). Not one of the Nats starters should be given anything. They all have something to prove.
Well, yeah, talent vs performance is the key.
He looked like he put on a bunch of weight.
Are you serious?
He had a neck wattle going on.
That means he put on weight rather quickly. We just saw him 3 months ago and he didn't look that big at all.
