I have no idea what anyone's 2005 ERA has to do with their potential pitching in 2011.  No to Blanton.

Maybe we can get Livan and John Patterson circa 2005 to help our pitching staff

We just need Livan circa 2010. Nice try, though.

Joe Blanton still sucks.  He's no better than what we already have on hand.  I think JD Martin and Luis Atilano and Ross Detweiler would do just as well as Blanton.

John Patterson?Shawn Hill? If we're fantasizing about old pitchers, I'd rather have a clone of Camilo Pascual, or Dick Bosman, or Tom Cheney before Hodges pitched his arm off. (What pitcher holds the MLB record for strikeouts in a single game? Everone should know that one.

Mickey Vernon pitched Cheney's arm off not Hodges.
