Sheesh, here goes Riggleman blowing through our bullpen.  Stammen's throwing fine, stupid fielding error but great pitches.  I thought he was our long guy.

riggleman is a walking panic attack.  no reason to take Stammen out because of an error.  if he's your long reliever you have to try and get 3 innings from him.

Stammen too often comes off as mentally weak. Just a shame.

Come on Debbie Taylor.  Ride to the hospital with Strasburg and get the news we fans need.

She'll report later from a tailgate where they make special Philadelphia fajitas.

After the mocking NOTLD gave Slaten, he should kiss that guy's ring. He's lights out.

Damn, thanks to Howard for swinging at 3 balls outside.  The only pitch Slaten threw remotely close to the plate was ball 1.

Nats' site is calling it an elbow injury, but you may already have heard that.

It was obvious seeing the replay that he was looking at his elbow straight away.  Sucks.

See you in 2012, Stephen.

it would be nice to only use pitchers whose names begin with S. I fear switching at this point.

Did you see Rizzo on the phone then walking out to the concourse? I am watching the Phillies feed. They had it on.

Ladson:

"Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg left Saturday's game against the Phillies because of an elbow injury."
