Author Topic: Nationals @ Diamondbacks, Game 4 (Read 22434 times)

I assume Ramos is undergoing an obligatory organizational orientation. It seemed obvious when we acquired him (considering Pudge has actually been worse than Wil for a while) that Ramos could be brought up immediately and improve the situation. Pudge needs to be a backup. Wil is a decent backup for a decent starting catcher. Wil is better than he showed this season. He seems distracted by the fact that his wife has been pregnant all season, and the FO has been distracted by seeming to care. Ramos should be up as soon as he passes the Pat Corrales secret catcher handshake test, and should play most of September while Pudge puts his back on ice and thinks about how to play 3 days a week next season.
