I'm trying to figure out a server to reroll on/transfer/ anything. I have a friend that I may be trying to join and I recently found out another one still plays as well. I'm trying to see if I can get them to play on a server with me. Nathan, you figure out what you are doing? The more the merrier.

PVP but I'm open to stuff. I gotta figure out what my other friend is doing. You got any server ideas?

I haven't looked into any, but I don't want to go to a barren server and I want to make sure that whatever faction is the higher population on said server.  It sucks when your faction is vastly out numbered.  Ganked all of the time and my biggest gripe is its hard to play the market in the auction house to make gold.

Personally, I'd like PVE just because I don't ever PVP and if I wanted to, you can turn on the PVP flag on a PVE server.  But you don't have to if you don't want to.

I haven't played as much lately because my cousin hasn't been on when I can get on and I just don't like playing alone.  What's the point of an MMORPG if you have to quest alone?

Agreed. It's hard to keep myself going when its just me doing instances and questing. That's why I'm trying to organize a group together to hopefully level with some people... I still have to figure out if they'd all xfer or whatever, too.

If you were all going to do a new toon, I've got a gnome mage that's still low level that I started on Frostwolf that I've got some BoAs on.  Once I get a staff for him I could transfer him instead of my 80.

That's also why I was trying to nudge chief into trying it out.

Did he say anything about if he was or wasnt? That'd be cool if we got another wnffer to play.

I doubt he will, he's not cool enough.

Linty mentioned it at one point too.  Maybe we could get him to download the free trial.  I mean really, once you get someone to start playing there's a good chance they'll be buying the full game

The wow effect. It happened to many of my friends

It's especially tempting when its 3x XP. That'd be cool if we got two people from here and we each had a 3xp partner lol.

Holy hell, we'd be able to level so fast if we had 4 people all getting RaF.

Yeah, I believe they are only giving us the new talents and skills and thats about it. Everything else will be Cata launch.

It sounds pretty weird at first but I say you should try the trial. Its 10 days free so you can see if you would enjoy it or not. Ask Nathan about it.

If not, no biggie.

Ok... does it work for Macs?

Also, do I get to run around and yell "Two magic, Two magic, Two magic"?

Yeah it works on macs. I don't know all the details though.

Yeah, you can do that too. I'm sure people will be like w/e but do it as much as you wish.

No get out of here noob!

Yeah! We're the highest levels but I'll be glad to make a new guy and join. I think we are discussing a new server atm but feel free to make a horde on Frostwolf for now!

What's a horde?
There are 2 factions, Alliance and Horde.  The Alliance races are Human, Dwarf, Gnome, Night Elf, and Draenei.

Horde races are Orc, Blood Elf, Tauren, Undead, and Troll.

Then there are classes.  Caster classes are Mage, Warlock, Priest, and sometimes shaman.  More melée type classes are Warrior, Paladin, sometimes hunter and Shaman or Druid.

In "instances" which are dungeons that are 5, 10, or 25 man, there are 3 roles.  The "tank" is like a meat shield and his job is to hold "aggro" so monsters attack him.  Tanks are Druids in bear form, paladins, and warriors.

"Healers" heal the tank and others in the group, and are either druids in tree form, priests, shaman, or paladins.

The others in the group are DPS (Damage Per Second). DPS are Druids in cat or moonkin form, warlocks, mages, priests, hunters, rougues, warriors, or paladins.

And yes, it works on macs, I played on my MacBook Pro for a long time.
