They have to get that run back.  Don't hide in your shell like a frightened turtle, offense!

WISH GRANTED.

The ball scares me tonight.  I don't know how many runs we'll need to win tonight, but I think it's more than 5.

See, I hate that. RBI's as valid as saves or wins, not worthless but not that independently valuable. Too highly correlated with "protection" and a million other things, but the information is still there.

The thing about RBIs are, they are useful for a certain area, but more RBIs don't necessarily correlate to being a better player.

I get your point, but I think they're a wee bit more valuable than that.  Especially wins.

just turned on the radio...5 runs again. good to see some consistent offense, especially against these pitchers.

Did Jon Garland reject us, this past offseason?  He's only making $4.7 million...compared to $7.5 million for Marquis.

I guess, the fact that Garland is still playing in games sort of makes up the difference.   :|

Wow, it is comically easy to stuff the ASG ballot box.  I like how they keep all the info between votes except the validation key, but subtly re-check the opt-in box for spam every time

Yea, I thought there was something like a 25 vote limit. But it just let me keep going, and going, and going...

That's why New York, Philly and Boston can keep outvoting everyone else.  More people to stuff the ballots with.

Why is the bullpen up for Martin but Riggleman let Livan go into the 8th?  Could he have learned?

Turtle's don't scare easily.  It's more like the rope-a-dope strategy.
