You may be right. I'm just not ready to completely give up on Nyjer yet.

the problem is nyjer only played for a short period of time and then he got hurt, so it seems like he was amazing when in reality he may of just had a hot streak and then went down.  come on - the guy is a horrible base stealer and has given up 1-2 inside the park home runs in less than 60 games.  his on base average sucks - i see no upside to him and i think bernidina is better is better in center anyway.  also get that home "t-plush" garbage out of here.  he's a minor leaguer

crap. I went outside. Kearns hit the other one?

Yep.

Pudge hasn't looked awful. Otherwise...

Dunn hasn't been bad either.

Dunn has been a pleasant surprise. He isn't afraid to get off the bag on some of Zimm's bad throws and tag the runner out.

Yep.

Dunn hasn't been bad either.

fair enough - i'd love to be wrong which is very possible

Losing to Manny Acta is worse than losing to any other manager, period.

Your manager should always out-manage Manny Acta.

As Rob is talking, Kearns is doing exactly the opposite thing...

That was a about 1/3 of Berkman's swing.

So, it's going to be the "B" team tonight, so far as bullpen goes.

That doesn't make anything better. We need Wang, Zimmermann, and Detwiler to get healthy.

But Stammen is ready now,  those others aren't.  As a matter of fact, Stammen hasn't even pitched in Syracuse yet.

Just being sent down might be the "shock" he needed.

C'mon, somebody lay some good stats on me to convince me that Tyler Walker doesn't suck, and shouldn't be replaced now.

Luis settling down nicely. I might have to eat my words. Come on Luis this is your chance of having a sub 4.00 ERA!!!

1st   A Dunn doubled to deep center, I Rodriguez scored.   1   0
1st   A Kearns homered to left center, C Santana and R Branyan scored.   1   3
4th   A Kearns homered to center.   1   4
6th   T Hafner homered to right.     1       5
6th   T Crowe singled to right, J Peralta and L Valbuena scored.

I wonder if Riggleman's learned anything about putting together a lineup, with this team, from this game?

I can't wait to see what he does tomorrow.

We're pretty much playing a complete game.  No hitting, horrible fielding, contemptible pitching, and brainless baserunning.  Have I left anything out?
