If it were me, I'd get a Hernandez/61.  In fact, I probably will.  Regardless of his up and down years and trips to other teams, he is much loved in DC.  An "iconic national" as someone suggested in another thread.

Maybe a Maxwell jersey with a velcro logo so you can keep switching it between nationals and chiefs?

I'm beginning to think a Tony Plush will look good with my Milledge #44.

Was wondering, would it be sacrilegious to wear a Twins Harmon Killebrew jersey to a Nats game. I was thinking about buying one because it was rather cheap, but wasn't sure about whether or not that would be deemed improper by my fellow Nats faithful.

I have seen a few around the park.  To me it was pretty cool to see.  I'm looking for the 6 sleeved Walter Johnson jersey for myself and family to wear.

I think it'd be far more egregious to wear a Bob Short Rangers jersey.  I don't view the Twins as the ex-Senators quite like I do the Rangers.

It would be a whole lot cooler to buy a Senators Killebrew jersey.

With people under a certain age, only an Angelos O's jersey would set them off. I don't really give a crap about Short as much as Angelos blocking a team for so many years.

Well, without Short, nobody would give a rat's ass about Angelos.

Well, I needn't worry anyways, their jerseys apparently are not available in "fat a$$" so I'll have to shell out big bucks later if I want one.

As an ex-Senators fan, how do you view the debate of Twins v. Rangers as the more hated team?

Irrelevant.  I don't hate either one.  You can't blame the players who moved.  You can't blame the cities who wanted teams.  It's on the owners who moved them.

Interesting take.  From what I've read, I viewed the Twins as inevitable and Washington was going to get a new owner for an existing city, whereas I view the Rangers with more contempt because they moved to Dallas and took the name "Senators" with them.

But it is the American League and I really don't follow much American League baseball but if I were forced to rank the American League teams in terms of hatred, the Rangers would be much higher ln the list than the Twins.
