+1. I really like watching Buehrle work. Wish he'd change the spelling of his last name.

Ok, it better rain on the 18th because that game is going to be off the charts.

That would be the Nightmare Scenerio for traffic and entering the stadium.

MLB Network's carrying the game, right?  Are they just picking up a feed or are they bring in a crew?

Not meant literally. I think the dog day was earlier this year.

Dog days are awesome if your dog behaves... if they don't look out!

Last year I was just about to buy tickets, but I realized August and Huskies and concrete structures don't mix. September or April are much better ideas. How's the water situation?

I'm not a big fan of pets....actually, to be fair, I don't mind the animal, it's usually the owner.

What was the saying about Mad Dogs and Englishmen?  This covers the Englishmen part.  Discussing Stras as "the One" and his first appearance.

As someone who complains about hamming up patriotic songs, I liked this observation about the Nation Anthem:
Quote
But Strasburg-mania ensured a sell-out crowd, with all the minor irritations that means for the regular supporter used to a plentiful choice of seats.

It means higher ticket prices for a start of course.

And it meant more of a sense of occasion. Not always a good thing.

Instead of hiring a local singer to belt out America's stirring anthem, a well-known sax player was recruited to turn it into a series of bluesy meanderings, punctuated by melodramatic squeaks.

I heard Korean Restaurant Owners' Day is going to be held on the same day as Bring Your Dog to the Park Day in the future.

Never mind, the White Sox announced today that they are moving Buehrle up to pitch tomorrow.

For compensation, Strasburg faces Jake Peavy. though the reason for the move is Peavy is having arm issues so he's getting an extra day's rest.  If he's not ready to go I assume we'll see Gavin Floyd.

I'd rather see Floyd than Peavy, but I grew up in Severna Park.
