I quit wasting my time with the MLB boards because moderating was non-existent. I love O's-bashing as much as anyone, but if those boards are finally being moderated, it's a positive development.

I still won't go back there because this board is so much better, but those boards needed some serious help.

You mean this thread isn't about the White Sox@Minnesota series starting tonight?  :roll:

I'd go with winning the series with the O's.  Local bragging rights mean a lot, and all that crap for years about the O's being "DC's team."

I respect the views of everyone saying we have to beat the O's, and I don't disagree, it's just that we play them every year, and I fully expect us to beat them anyway.  We won't see the Indians again for a few years, by which time Manny may not even be their skipper anymore.

And for those saying you bear Manny no ill will...  well of course not.  Neither do I.  But that doesn't mean I want his new team beating ours! :roll:

Yes, it would be kind of humiliating to lose to him. But just in case you have ill will, there's always the snakehead solution.

The Philthies in late July at home, if we're still allowed to say "at home" when playing the Philthies in DC.

As much as I would love to sweep Manny Acta (no doubt about it) ... beating the Phillies (or another NL East club for that matter) is the best.
