The only thing he's done this season that's I find annoying is that he seems to be slowly getting infected with Carpenter's flyball calling - always grunting "GETOUT" on balls that aren't going anywhere.

That's the thing that REALLY bothers me. :bang:

And I don't mind homerism, but he could at least be a tad more objective.

He's not.  That one was just a mess.

haha i know i saw the replay and he tripped ... it looked like a hit and run.  both nats parties failed on that one.

If you think Dibble is a homer then you don't have MLB.tv/Extra Innings!  There are far worse homers, around baseball.

Showing how much better it really is.  Heck 2/3 of the postings here negative.
Sometimes it's better to just not remember...

We can all laugh about those days when we're in the playoffs...

I didn't mind Sutton.  I couldn't stand Darling (Proctor was awesome, though), and I thought Carp/Paciorek sucked.
I couldn't have said this better, except Sutton seemed like he never wanted to be there. He knew his stuff, but he didn't mesh with Carpenter at all. I like the way Dibble and Carpenter communicate with each other.

Does your remote have a

I like the sounds of the game, unfortunately.

I actually prefer watching sports on TV w/ only a PBP guy. A lot more enjoyable, IMO.

Does anyone still do that other than Vin Scully or Bob Ueker?

Barely

I mean there are some really bad ones, but they aren't worse than Dibble.

Hawk Harrelson is just AWFUL, though.  So is the color commentator for the Angels, and the Mariners' PBP guy.

Yeah, agreed.  I would've liked Sutton with a different PBP.  Dibble made Carp tolerable last year, but Carp is starting to really get on my nerves again this year.

White Sox are bad and the Cards guys are super arrogant, no one knows more about baseball than they do in their minds.

Can the Mets' pitching last? Their offense IMO is not any better than ours.

They're just terribly boring.  I haven't noticed homerism from them, but I don't really pay attention.

But damn, talk about boring...the Cards' current announcers. X_X

Yeah Capps!  2 away.
