We should do a new bullpen experiment. Send Bruney down and add and remove different minor league pitchers like Martin and Balester.

Anyone want to shop Klej and Bruney onto a picture of a man holding a baby?

And our pitching staff has yielded the most walks in the NL or something, I think.  They definitely have the worst K/BB ratio.

We're 10th in walks in the MLB.  We were DEAD LAST in 2009, so it's an improvement.

I'm astounded.  They had given up a lot of walks at the beginning of the season, but I guess getting Livo/Stammen/Olsen really going has helped (they give up very few walks).

Sorry guys.  Just jumped on.  I was in a meeting all evening.  Holy freaking mother of God I HATE the Cubs, and hate Cubs fans even more.  Its frustrating to lose like that, made all the more painful by the smug Wrigley Field idiots cheering.  I was listening to Ron (the tool) Santo chirp and cheer.   God, that was depressing!

Oh bullcrap.

The wind did not cause Lannan to walk hitters.

I'm turing the post game off. What horse crap.

I MEANT to say that the Nationals are 10th WORST in walks.  We've given up 75 in the first 19 games in 2010. We gave up 629 in 2009, dead last (Mets were 2nd worst.)

How is it humanly possible to walk the pitcher with the bases loaded.

Hey Bruney, MAKE HIM HIT THE BALL!!!!  WE HAVE SOME FIELDERS!
DON'T WALK THE WINNING RUN IN!

No no, I understood you.  I just meant that I'm astounded it's not worse.  10th worst is close to middle of the pack.

We have now unnecessarily lost two games that we should have won out of the last 3 games. So bad.

Capps and Clippard can't pitch every night. We needs some of these other worthless mother freakers to step up or get the hell out.

She has some of the most uncomfortable interviews I have ever seen and it isn't because she is asking hard questions.

Fixed.  Call up Storen.

have you seen Storen's stats at AA?  he's not exactly dominating so far.

You must have been looking at the wrong person, because Storen just let up his first run of the season the other day, a solo shot, which was also only the third hit he had let up.  Additionally, he has walked only one batter and struck out 8.  Small sample sure, but when you add to last year it is pretty money.

I don't know what stats you are looking at, but in my book, a 1.23 ERA and a 0.55 WHIP along with a 8:1 K:BB ratio is dominating

Haha, yeah.  Storen's been pretty good.  In fact, he hasn't had a single stint anywhere in the Nationals' organization so far - fall league, minors, ST - where he's looked subpar.

He led the AFL in ERA. I'm sorry if he can't perform in a meaningless game in a meaningless league.
