Hammer didn't get a steal, did I miss something?  Is the game back on MASN?

No, he didn't.  I was just commenting on how often Riggleman has him run.

If you're Riggs, do you take a chance on Lannan in the 7th?

Yes its back on.

There was a wild pitch followed by a groundout that moved him over to third followed by a RBI single by Nieves.

Yes. Timely, since the Caps have cashed it in.  Over 55 shots and 1 goal.

Does Bob really think you can trade draft picks?
Gamecast said it was a wild pitch

Seriously, I can't believe Bob thinks you can trade draft picks.... that's almost a beachball worthy comment.

At 93 pitches, no. If he was at 85, you should. But with the game tied it is not that important. If they were down 1, you have to take him out.

I'd have Clippard warming up but start him off and keep him on a short leash...

You can't play Clippard in every game. At some point, he needs rest

Lannan has proven in the past his gas tank runs out around 105-115, not the arbitrary 100.

yeah very, very solid point JMU.

i dunno if riggs was pulling him because he wanted him to leave on a good note (i doubt it, because he's past the point of being babied anymore) ... i guess he wanted a hitter to lead off and give us a chance for a baserunner (thanks algo).

Why does Riggleman keep batting Gonzalez vs. RHP? At some point, he needs to realize that Stammen is a better option vs. RHP than Gonzalez.

What? Kansas City is leading 2-0.

There's no no hitter going on.
