I'd vote for Drew Storen or Adam Dunn

I would vote Drew Storen. Those two outs he got sealed the game.

Dunn. Got the game winning homer (well kept the lead). Drew Storen kicked ass as well. but I guess Strasburg?

one of those three

Storen said that Desmond was essentially the closer, maybe he did?
(read it on Zuckerman's blog).

I think I hallucinated that, too much back pain and medication. Seriously, those words are not on the page.

You probably were thinking of this comment.

Quote
"If I were going to give somebody the title of 'stopper' today," Desmond said, "I'd give it to Storen."

Kilgore:

"It was a good one," said Morse, smiling as he wore the silver Elvis wig the Nationals give their appointed player of the game. "It felt really good off the bat. It was loud."

So how did they decide between Morse and Guzmond ?

He didn't hit a HR like Guzman and Morse.  Nyger's fielding was better that Desmond as well

Why not Desman?

You TOTALLY missed the point of my needle.

You called Guzman "Guzmond", sort of a hybrid between Desmond and Guzman.  So I invented another hybrid, Desman, to close the circle.

Stammen really really deserved it last night.

You know, we have two pitchers that are throwing better than Strasburg right now (and i hope I didn't just jinx J.D. Martin).

Hard choice between Stammen and Willingham. I hope that they gave it to Willingham--his extended family was at the game from Florence, AL. How proud they would have been to see him in a Halloween wig.
