Whose fault was that?  Did Listach wave him over or was that Morgan's idea?

Whoever did it needs a day off. DAAAAAAAMN :bang:

Nook Morgan MUST set his baserunning ego aside, and think of the TEAM.  Thrown out, removing the Stammen score from the board.

There's a great example of why I'm glad Manny Acta isn't here any more.  He'd have pinch hit for Stammen for sure.

Edited to add:  I hit post before Morgan screwed up - I'm not sure why it took so long to show up.

Come on dude. That's ridiculous evidence.

I said that Morgan probably wasn't intelligent in the first page of this thread. Stop trying to prove me right. Never make the 3rd out at 3rd base.

Especially not before the run from first scores.

Sadly agree. I didn't see this type of Morgan last year when he was trying to prove himself.

Come on dude. That's ridiculous evidence.

I'm not saying that the pitcher will always get a hit, or even often get a hit - but Stammen is pitching a great game.
I'd rather have him in for another inning or two and let the rest of the lineup try to score some more runs, than pinch hit (admittedly, we've got better bats off the bench than Belliard and Cintron).  Especially since Stammen's hitting .250 - he's not Cabrera at the plate.
