The game isn't till 7:05 according to MLB.  I thought they said 4:25 on the radio last night too.
That's tomorrow.

What does that mean? Are you going to start the game thread for tonight? It's 4:25pm....the Center Gates are open for the game tonight...... :panic:

To all:

I had an old boss who was famed for making colorful quotes.  Once in a meeting, in frustration, he said:  "Look.  If you see a snake, kill it.  Don't form a committee on snakes".

So to Ross' point.  This is our forum.  If you see something that needs fixing, do it, don't wait for someone else.  Step up.

That is all.

We had the age split poll at the start of the year.  We have a bimodal distribution of participants on this board.  Something like 40% are 18- 24, and 40% are 45+.  there's a joke in there somewhere.

Not bothering me at all...........Could care less about the line-up..........Even if we could sweep the series today....Nah, not concerned at all.............Wonder who is pitching today.......But no mind, it's just a game..........Absolutely not my concern.......... To all:

I had an old boss who was famed for making colorful quotes.  Once in a meeting, in frustration, he said:  "Look.  If you see a snake, kill it.  Don't form a committee on snakes".

When I was at basic training (Army) we had a kid from Puerto Rico who spoke very poor, broken english.  Each morning one of us had to deliver the safety briefing to the platoon before we headed out for training.  When it was his turn he messed up lines and said "if you see a snake, don't panic, drink water"

"drink water" was supposed to be a separate sentence, joined with "stay hydrated".

For the rest of basic training every so often someone would yell "snake" and we'd all scramble for our canteens.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.
