Hell yeah. 13 innings. I think he walked 10+. 19 or 20 Ks. Awesome.
Worst loss of the season...
I wouldn't mind seeing the boxscore of that ballgame.
This guy is called "whiner dude." You should make it your avatar. That'd be awesome.
Worst Loss? Nah..... a bit too extreme my man. Frustrating Loss? Yep...wasted a really good effort by Livan.
Probably outdated material. I keep up big time with this type of stuff and that line of thinking was touted by kinesologists of the 1970s and 1980s. Most new school research will support what I posted in the last post. Mechanics is definitely the most importance in predicting future injuries. Secondary is pitch counts and power vs finesse. Though I would be interested in reading over the studies that you talk of, if you can point me in the right direction I can access them.I'm interested to see how Nolan Ryan's experiment works out. Pretty promising right now, but it takes a year or two for these things to kick in.
The games where we gave up 10 or more runs are immediately eliminated because we were beaten so soundly. I believe that's four. Which of the other three, not counting this one, was worse?
We should talk more about this in another thread sometime. I'll find some of the stuff that I have read. I've seen a lot that argue both sides. IMO, pitch counts really don't matter THAT much. 100 is the magic number (as usual) that teams stick to for some reason.
Terrible Dunn...
