Quote from: "hammondsnats"i like bergmann but he has to realize that the reason he's been up and down the past two seasons is b/c he can't find the plate. he has good stuff, but it's ineffective if he can't consistently throw strikes. c'mon jason.[/quotI mostly agree but I'm not so sure his stuff is all that good. He is at best a bottom of the roation pitcher.he does have good stuff. he is our version of daniel cabrera. has good stuff, just has control issues. he doesn't throw as hard as D-Cab, but he has more pitches. he could definitely be a good #4/5 down the road.

Cabrera has stud potential, whether he ever lives up to it is another story.
WaPo Radio just said Livan pitched 8 innings with 4 runs and 10 hits for Arizona last night. And took the loss.
