CounterStrike about to get the wig.  Love Ian Desmond's response to DT's question "are you excited to see Craig Stammen in the Elvis wig?"  Answer = Elvis impersonation

I bet you if you worked for baseball tonight, a week ago your first story on the O's-Rays game is that they had the smallest crowd in OPACY history.

Wow, they are still trashing them. Saying that we are getting lucky because our top strikeout pitcher is a reliever. Said the crowd won't pick up until Strasburg gets called up. I'm sick of ESPN, so glad for MLB Network

What they said is the truth. No one is coming out to the ballpark in washington until the team is consistently winning or has a superstar player.

Why are you watching Baseball Tonight, MLB Tonight didn't mention the crowd, they did mention the string of bad crowds in Toronto though.  It really shouldn't be any surprise it was small though, Monday night in April when the Caps are playing and we don't really have much buzz in the community yet, if we're still winning like this in May or June or July, you'll see the crowds come out.

Fun to read this thread in retrospect.  Stammen shut a lot of people up tonight.  Well done.  Get another one tomorrow!

Maybe so, but the Caps had a huge game tonight. The Rockies also don't typically drive people to the park.
Crowds also always pick up during the summer month.

Is it really necessary after a win?

BBTN is trash.  Don't watch it.

funny, but seriously...Tourists come out and kids don't have school the next day. It's hard to take the kids to a night game while school is in session.

Well guys and gals, it was great night at the ball park tonight, even if it was a small crowd, we all stuck through to the end cheered for the save.
