I'm just disappointed that Riggleman has a fetish for mediocre veterans (Guzman, Taveras). Why didn't Maxwell bat leadoff yesterday? How come Desmond was not playing vs. a LHP yesterday? The team needs to stick to the youth movement, especially because those young guys are better than the veterans.

I agree - but what are the odds of that?? I fear we are going to see a rash of bullpen injuries this year.....

I'd be shocked if we didn't.Pitchers as a group make up more than 50% of the players on the DL. Also the number of days missed while on the DL. I would venture that relief pitchers make up more than 50% of the pitchers.

Dunn, but only if you are a geek. I would not mind Morgan - Harris, with Kennedy 7th. Something nice about Kennedy following Pudge in a big situation. I also think Riggs may be looking ahead to Max replacing Harris late if there is a LHP on the mound (Morales, Beimel).
