Can't allow any more runs. Good thing the top of the order is coming up soon again. Need 1-2 runs in the 6th and we're right back into this thing.

Dunn is really letting this team down right now. Dude needs to start hitting.

He's not 100% yet, I'm ok with the call. If we lose by one run then I'll be pissed but since I highly doubt that why risk it?

Well every run matters when you are down by 5. I actually agree with Dibble. If you can't make the necessary plays due to injures then you shouldn't be out there.

But FATE doesn't know that!  FATE just heard "END IT."

But I agree, I AM SICK OF HEARING SWEET CAROLINE AT BASEBALL GAMES!

Why is Taveras batting against a righty?!?!?  :bang:

Horrible, Riggleman really mismanaged these substitutions, between that and Gonzalez in the game with Desmond sitting.

Florida shutting out Philly 1-0 in the 9th.  Uggla 2 for 3 with a dinger and a single :lmao:

OPS is .619, have to think about benching him at some point if he can't pick it up

Willingham deserves the contract extension, not Dunn

If it weren't for Marquis crapting the bed, the Nats could have been in the thick of the division race at the end of the day. :(

Tampa Bay's about to go 9-3, but their payroll is higher than the Nats

Even dominating teams have days they can't produce. No matter what happens during the rest of the game, I'm proud of the effort they have shown.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Carlos Pena could be a really nice pick-up next year.

there are plenty of other holes in the pitching staff

This is the first time in about 3 years that I did NOT have Uggla on my fantasy team.  He delivers HRs but never has a good BA. And he's streaky.

Yeah, but you figure even with an average SP, we win at least 2/3 of the games Marquis started.

Nice to see Walker pitching well. We need him to pitch like he did for the Phillies last year.
