Looked like a fair trade at the time. Burnett sucks however.

Looked like a steal at the time.

Weak little half swing at a high pitch. Sigh.

Who couldn't have seen that coming?

All you had to do was hit a ball to the outfield, and you couldn't do it, could you? :bang:

This is a winnable game...that we'll probably lose and that sucks.

Claudio Vargas still in baseball makes me think someone will pick up Bergmann.
Ex-Nat Ramon Ortiz still kicking with the Dodgers makes me agree with you

Kangaroo court, fine the crap out of Guzman.

Here comes Burnett with a silly hat and a terrible fastball.

In my MLB franchise, I traded a AA pitcher (some guy with B potential) and some lower level prospect to the A's for RF/CF Ryan Sweeney. I immediately started him in RF and since the trade he's hitting like .320, 2 HR, 8 RBI, 3 SB, 10 runs in 11-12 games in the 2 hole. Awesome.

Yes, it's difficult to get under the ball when pitchers are trying to roll a ground ball.

Bat control is one of the finer arts in baseball.

Exactly why this is reminiscent of our lineup a year to two years ago.

How the hell does that work. Wish we could get production like that in real life.

Editors note: Guzman has 4 LOB tonight. What a bum! :whip:

In another weather-related story, The Weather Channel is currently showing "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray.

I asked my wife if we get The Weather Channel HD, she told me to look out the window.

I've had it - Groundhog Day it is.
