Wow, that's a bizarre injury.  They say the ligament doesn't really hurt, so I was thinking it maybe pulled off the bone instead of snapping, but never thought of a fracture.

Dave Dravecky. Although many believe that Chemo played a role in his injury.

Right.  Maybe he has a bone density issue or some other underlying condition.

That's still one of the most disturbing injuries I've ever seen.  Tom Browning too.

Isn't Zumaya the one who hurt his arm playing Guitar Hero? Next to that, I guess this really isn't that bizarre. The guy has some awful injury luck :?

Here's the video.

Yikes... The way his hand was shaking halfway through. Poor guy  :icon_frown:

Zumaya's finger also got twisted throwing a pitch. I think all of this is because he throws so damn hard.

The Nats trainers would have rubbed dirt on it.  :stir:

As I understand it, he lost his arm because of a reoccurance of cancer.

What do you mean pretended to charge the mound? Either you charge or you don't.

You've never seen the video of the guy in Japan fake charging and then going to first and everyone laughs?

That's Tony Batista. He isn't fake charging. That's the way he always ran to first after being hit.  :lmao:  He did it while with the Nats one time and it freaked out the opposing team, IIRC.

Oh well.  The only thing I ever remember about him is his crazy batting stance

I remember him insanely having a great year as a pinch hitter. Bowden accidentally got one right.

Well I guess you could say he "bucked" towards the pitcher and then Suzuki held him back. Lugo then slapped Suzuki's hand and Suzuki began to walk to first with him. I really wanted Suzuki to punch him in the face. Suzuki. Suzuki.

If Ichiro was catching, he'd have drop kicked him.

I remember him in the AL East like 8 years ago. Blue Jays or Orioles I think, can't remember.
