Phillies lose 1-0 to Marlins.

The bigger story about the Phillies shouldn't be the perfect game but how little they've been scoring. Even in the PG, they only scored one run and no runs today.

Kind of funny. Some dude started a topic yesterday before Halladay's PG and said 27 batters to go. Supposedly he's only done it one other time.

rockies optioned dexter fowler to the minors. he's only 24 so he has plenty of time to get it together, but wow, good for them to make that kinda move with a struggling player.

Smith is rapidly improving and they have a crowded OF already with Gonzales & Hawpe locked in and Spillborgs & Smith fighting for AB.

Have you seen the monster year CaGo is putting up this year? He's got 5-tool stats, 7 HR, 7SB, 33 RBI, 33R, .316/.511/.857 in 174 ABs

They do this a time or two every season, just like Mariano Riviera has a bad stretch every season, and it doesn't mean squat in the context of a 162 game season.

At what point does Helton become an occasional starter and defensive replacement with one of those OF's getting the bulk of starts at 1B? Helton's BABIP was ridiculously high last year making me think his drop in OPS in 08 and thus far this year is the real thing.

Jim Tracy will not take Jimenez out of the game. Two outs in the 9th, 4-0 Colorado. He's given up a double and a walk.

He's the exact opposite of Riggleman.

Tracy is going to wear him out!
