At least Zimmerman and Orr made some good plays for Lannan in that inning. Too bad it is 4 innings too late.

What a freaking play.

this ... he makes it look easy.

john lannan is pitching an absolute gem.  if only the defense were behind him.

i'd like to see us extend lannan.

Lannan was outstanding tonight:

6 IP, 0 ER, 5 hits (3 legitimate hits), 3 BB (2 of them legitimate), 6 K (Strikeout machine )

Lannan gets screwed so much more than any of our other pitchers it's not even funny.  I wonder if he is a major jerk in the dugout and they don't play with vigor for him.

122 pitches, a career high. I'm not sure if I'm happy he is getting extended or should be angry. Either way, he ended the season on a positive note barring a disastrous start vs. the Mets which we know won't happen with his domination of the Mets. Good season Lannan.

After next season. He is a 2nd year player this season. I don't think he'll make a lot of money because he's not a strike out guy.

yeah that's 2011. when he hits arby, i'd love for us to sign him at something like 6 years, 30 million.

another 4 out inning. We can't keep that up if we want to be looked at as a legitimate team. I hate being the laughing stock of baseball and this defense has given too much ammo for jokes.

Stay the course, Stan. The plan calls on the team only getting 120 errors next season instead of averaging close to 1 per game. PROGRESS!!

why is this team so damn predictable? :bang:

just took it in the ass from Vazquez and put up no fight.

I don't know how Charlie Slowes has made it all season. This team has clearly broken him. He is the most depressed sounding play by play guy I have ever heard. Sounds like he wants to stick a glock in his mouth every time he finishes a sentence.
