a couple weeks ago - I WAS THERE IN SD - it was all livan and it was his call. tonight it was from the dugout ... he wanted to bunt the runners over so the leadoff hitter would have a chance to hit with two on in scoring position. even dibs/bob were saying the same thing. it was desmond's fault and desmond's fault alone.

What are the chances that Guzman will be our SS next year, Gonzalez/Orr at 2B, and one of Nieves and Bard starts for us? 90%? 95%? It's obvious they will be back based off Riggleman and Rizzo's love affair for those guys.

Livan should have been swinging away to produce a run on a sac fly or ground out (or base hit).

Bunting in that situation is STUPID.

none of those four players should be back next year whatsoever.

they'll have flores and a free agent catcher in place. hopefully they get a better option to be the backup middle infielder.

desmond froze and could've made it back to the bag earlier. he has to be heads up.
