Gonzalez = YOU SUCK.

let Lannan keep going.

He's owned Poo-Holes all day, at least let him pitch to him. then hook him.

Would you trust anyone in our bullpen? :spaz:
nope. this game is over.

great outing by Lannan (8 IP 4 H 2 ER 2 BB 2 K). a shame he got no run support.

gonzalez is the worst player in baseball it's not even close.  i can't believe he's still on the roster.  he's amazingly bad at his job, but still gets in the line-up.

oh god. please no Bergmann against Pujols-Holliday-Ludwick

I see a beachball getting knocked into the St. Louis skyline.

This. That crap sounds like little league. Riggs just want everyone to play so their parents don't get pissed.

rofl i was about to say the same thing.

J. Motte looks like an absolute goof in his Gameday picture.

agreed. definitely needs to be added to this thread.

The best we can hope for now is extra innings and our best homerun hitter is out of the game.   :?

terrible. Gonzalez's swing is trash right now. complete trash.

his whole set-up and stance and swing are all out of whack.
Agreed.  Hopefully Desmond comes up and tears it up.  To paraphrase a Rizzo quote, I'm tired of watching him.

exactly.  he's just pathetic.  daniel cabrera had better at bats when he was here than alberto gonzalez.

Well, it didn't matter.  It was still a terrible decision, Riggleman.

and Carpenter jacks off to Pujols going yard.

Bergmann is horrible. I'm off the bandwagon and am never ever jumping back on. Get rid of him in the offseason.

Top priority should always be making the right moves to win games. Pulling this "everyone deserves a role" crap don't fly in one run games against powerhouse teams.

Horsehit.  If you haven't noticed, this isn't the 7th game of the series.  At this point, the objective is to coax the maximum number of wins out of the roster he's got, over the remaining course of the season.  And that means using the entire roster to maximum effect.   Giving bench players and relievers meaningful roles is all a part of managing a team.
