It's the first time in 5 years the break has been only 3 days for the Nats.

They had a 3 day break every year from 1999 (at least, that's all the further back the schedule went) to 2005 and 2/3 of the league starts up on Thursday.  It's not the unusual happenstance Carpys making it out to be.
