Weird problem

Recently, sometimes after I read a thread, it still says "new" even though no new posts have been made. I end up reading a thread like 5 times. Not a big thing, I was just wondering how to fix it.

check the threads you want to mark as read, and click the button.  There is also one at the bottom of the main index that will mark the entire forum read if you like.

I know, I just read it, and then I see "new" so I think there's a new post, but there's no new post.
