you can believe me or not, but i have a mutual friend who grew up in the same town with o-dog and he said he would come to dc, definitely.  he also said it public too, so it's no secret.

the word was he failed a physical but a week later he signed with the dodgers?  doesn't make sense though.

anywho he would've helped.  good pop, good glove, good "character".  oh well we're stuck with what we have.

I'd say I'd sign with anyone, too. That's the smart thing to do. Doubtful he would have actually signed here, though. Seriously doubtful. He also would have cost a pick, I believe.

again my friend had lunch with him and he said he would play in dc for sure.  it was nats, dodgers and i believe the mets were in the race.  you don't have to believe me if you don't want, but it'd be kind of random for me to make something up like this.

and if he took a physical for us, obviously he showed interest.

why don't we have any pitchers that can consistently throw strikes?

it shouldn't be as hard as they make it look

the role of the closer is a funny thing.  just go in and throw strikes like your teammates had been doing all game long.
