Stammen will stay in the rotation with a bat like that.
Stammen and Martis could be emergency pinch hitters...

Move Guzman to the bottom of the order

move his ass off the team or to the bench. either one will suffice.

that killed us. had a chance to build a sizable lead.

Guzman is now, officially, worse than having a pitcher in the lineup!

Martis can pinch run too - he can fly.

QFT.  Should have scored at least one more there.

there is a reason why they walked Stammen earlier in the game with 2 outs and a runner on 2nd to get to Guzman.

Singleton was a lead-off hitter for Balt early in his Oriole career.  I guess him.

Stammen certainly seems to be making the most of his second opportunity.

He's a nice trade chip.

Cantu's loafing it gives the Nats back the base Dunn just tried to give him.  That being said, how did he pull that down the line?

Having both Willingham and Dunn in the outfield will bite us in the ass at some point tonight.

They took some of the worst routes to those last two fly balls I've seen by major leaguers in a long time.

Dumbass Marlins.  Running when they shouldn't be and cruising when guys are slipping on the track.

You guys, Dunn slipped on the wet track.  While funny, I don't think that's really something you lay on his D.

big out for Craig.

heart of the order coming up for the Nats with a chance to knock West out of the game.

Maybe i missed something but how was Dunn's route bad?  He went straight across to where the ball was going.

I was talking about the fly ball for the first out.

He took a couple of steps back first.

EDIT:  Not saying he botched it, but with he and Willingham on the corners, someone's gonna goof it up - especially with Dukes in CF.

Oh alright.  I missed that one, and saw your post after the slip-and-slide play.

Lovers of defense might want to check out Linty's new thread.  Seems the outfield may be getting an overhaul.
