Natsaddict, what the hell does Uggla have in his mouth?  A dead mouse?
Tie-Clip gets him to ground out and minimize the damage.

1.  Yellow Spit

2.  Only Marlin regular not taking part in Tobacco  Free Florida

My guess is chewing tobacco.

If I were a batter, I wouldn't get too comfortable.  He's pretty wild.

Exactly. Maybe he dominates AAA hitters cause they refuse to step in the box against him.

he is missing up with everything.

don't put in Colome, Manny. give him a chance to work out of it. he walked a few batters in AAA too but he usually got out of jams.

Balester pitches on Thursday in AAA. I think that will be his last one down there if he does well.  Bally has only given up 3 HRS all year in AAA. He has been keeping the ball down and  keeping his pitch count down is why he should be such a different pitcher than last year.  We will see.

I don't know why more pitchers don't throw up in the zone on a bunt... trying to get a pop up.

I don't know if Clippard has it... either the guy is too geaked up to pitch... or he's just completely wild.

Did Clippard throw first pitch strikes in Syracuse?  If he did, why would that change just by being promoted to the majors?  That makes no sense.

You guys crack me up. All this wailing and gnashing of teeth to get Clippard up, he has a bad start and you're already clamoring for the next reliever in Syracuse to be recycled thru our bullpen. It's always some other guy in Syracuse who has the magic arm and can throw strikes.

I'm not saying that at all... I just want the kid to calm down when he steps on the mound.

Nick is suddenly in a slump.

is sitting on my fantasy BENCH.  1 for 25 with only 5 HRs for the season is a ticket to waivers soon.

I don't get it either. two outings and they want him gone.

I would have allowed him to finish this inning tonight to see if he could have gotten out of it. He pitched out of jams a lot in Syracuse.

A lot of guys in the minors swing at bad pitches because they worry more about their BA than OBP. They try to hit their way into the majors and it backfires.
