Websites redirecting websites help please!

Hey, at work, I sit on laptops and update software, inserting cds whenever it says. So when it does that I usually surf the web. I was surfing WNFF and my co-worker/boss who jokes with me alot, turned the computer away and did something in notepad that directs wnff.net to maxipads

The thing is, it says wnff.net uptop but its the tampon site. How do I fix this so I can copy and send it to that computer.

He said if I fix it he wont change it again

It seems that the site is thinking its another site.

the header reads wnff.net but the website displays something else.

Pretty sure he edited your hosts file that points wnff.net to another site.

anyway I can do that myself? He hinted at me being able to do it, but if I cant then Im sure its going to be blocked all summer

Yeah browse to c/windows/system 32/drivers/etc and find the hosts file.  Open it in notepad and see if he there is a line that has wnff.net on it.

Yes it did. He went to a website that gets the sites IP to match wnff.net with that IP.

I deleted it and it worked. Thanks again
