just saw it on ESPN, payton was trader for chad bradford of the A's.

payton's stats:
133 ABs
5 HRs
21 RBIs

.313 OBP

bradford's stats:
5-7

And the word is, that the A's might turn around and trade Payton to the Yankees... The big winner might turn out to be the A's if they can get a sweet deal from the Yanks

but what prospects/players would the yanks trade to the A's?

from what ive heard the yanks farm system is horrible.

I honestly have no idea, the word came from Peter Gammons and I've not found more info than just that he said it.
